Closing the NET on Rare Cancers Article published by Melbourne Uni

  • July 11, 2023

Dr Emma Boehm and Associate Professor Richard Tothill from the University of Melbourne, along with Associate Professor Grace Kong and Professor Michael Michael from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre have released this great article on NETs for the Melbourne University’s online research platform, Pursuit.

Closing the NET on Rare Cancers explains how patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) can now access cutting-edge treatments and research technology thanks to a new partnership between doctors and scientists.

There is hope that the new approach to research and treatment will help bridge the gap between the clinic and the lab, developing better diagnostic tests and future treatment options for people with NETs.
