Team Unicorn Enters The Spring Cycle And Raises $11,995!

  • November 20, 2016
On October 16, Ross Circosta and his Team Unicorn cyclists entered the Spring Cycle in Sydney, riding 50km's and raising close to $12,000 for the Unicorn Foundation!

Ross has a very personal reason to be involved with the Unicorn Foundation, his wife has been battling NET cancer for over 10 years. Things have recently become quite severe and it has had a huge impact on her life and the lives of her loved ones.

In support of his beautiful wife, Ross decided to rally some of his lycra loving friends, and enter a team in the Spring Cycle with the goal of raising as much awareness and funds as possible to support the Foundation to continue their amazing work – supporting NET patients, funding research, equitable access to treatment and ultimately finding a cure for NETs.

The team jersey was designed and created by Ross and worn by the team on race day – they looked fantastic!

What a huge effort by all involved, with some team members taking on the ride with little or no training.

Thank you Team Unicorn members:  Ross, Kate, Chris, Lauren, Petrice, Alex, Brian and Garth for your support and efforts not only on the day but with all the preparation, fundraising and hard work in the lead up to the event.  We are very thankful for your continuned support and we are so proud of you all.  Well done Team Unicorn!
